This is the first piece in a series I am doing on the "27 Club". All the paintings will be album cover sized and feature Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain and Jim Morrison. This shows the first in the series (Hendrix) from pencil sketch to finished product. I think I need some more steps in there and each short doesn't align perfectly but you get the idea.
